An exhibition of “Winter Olympics” stamps opened at the Postage Stamp Museum of Liechtenstein on 5 November as part of the international festival “Russian Cultural Seasons”. The exhibition celebrates the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Liechtenstein.

On 8 October, the Liechtenstein National Museum opened an exhibition of archive documents and records about the activities of Prince Franz de Paula of Liechtenstein, who served as the Austro-Hungarian ambassador in St Petersburg.

The Cossacks of Russia dance ensemble gave a stunning performance at the Vernier Concert Hall on 6 June as part of the 3rd international festival Russian Cultural Seasons.

Performance by Moscow Art Theatre School graduates at the POESTATE Festival.

Graduates of the Moscow Art Theatre Studio, touring Switzerland, took part in the traditional international poetry festival Poestate held in Lugano on 5–7 June. The Art Theatre tour was part of another festival – the Russian Cultural Seasons, the third such season held in the Swiss Confederation.

A chess tournament to mark the 200th anniversary since establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Switzerland was held at the Parliament Building in Bern on 18 June.

The gala opening of the 3rd international festival Russian Cultural Seasons took place at the Théâtre du Léman on 22 February.

On 8 December, the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre put on a special performance of the play The Last Victim featuring Oleg Tabakov.

The Moscow Art Theatre has staged The Last Victim in Switzerland before, at the Geneva Opera in October 2013 as part of the Russian Cultural Festival.

On 23 December, the State Duma of the Russian Federation hosted a formal meeting to review the results of the 200th anniversary celebrations of establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Switzerland.

On 11 December, the hotel Bellevue Palace Bern hosted a gala reception celebrating the 200th anniversary of Russian-Swiss diplomatic relations.

The event in Bern also marked the end of the 3rd international Russian Cultural Seasons Festival in Switzerland.
